ISCHIA

Chemical weapons also sunk off the coast of Ischia: there are documents
Italy was gross dumps poisonous arsenal: there were also in the Gulf of Naples and Ischia in the waters

campaigns and seas 'Italy are full of chemical weapons produced by fascism, Nazism and the United States, and then abandoned in the final stages and immediately after the Second World War.
In the Gulf of Naples and the island of Ischia partticolarte, there were traces of disposals in some documents the U.S. military, whose very existence is enough to assume the presence of other acts which are still kept secret. These are the "relations Brankowitz" ie a kind of summary of operations of transfer and disposal of chemical weapons at sea, operations carried out by U.S. forces; relationships Brankowitz be added to a summary report prepared by Polygon Aberdeen.
These acts were made public during the Clinton presidency, in the interests of overall transparency: after the attack on the Twin Towers, however, President Bush has again imposed a secret. The fear is that bin Laden and his followers can use these cards (which often contain the exact positions of the landfill) to get their hands on chemical weapons which, though outdated, are always lethal. A remote and unlikely possibility, certainly, but U.S. authorities did not want to risk it.

In fact, as many of the things theoretically secret, it's easy to find these documents on the Internet ...

One such report is really just a "Draft" written April 27, 1987 by William R. Brankowitz and on a historical summary on the movement of chemical weapons. " The list consists of 139 pages and covers an amount of trips made by the end of World War II to 1986. At one point we read that the first April 23, 1946 at an unspecified quantity of phosgene bombs came from "Auer" (probably the case of Aversa, the U.S. military base) with destination "the Sea "was, therefore, presumably sank off the coast of Campania. Then, on 6 and 7 May 1946 a train composed of thirteen cars always starts with "Auer" and arrived at Bagnoli. Here the material (phosgene bombs) was loaded onto a ship (the "Francis Newlands), which departed on May 22 at the time of filing naval Theodor, in Mobile, Alabama (United States), where he arrived June 13 of 1946 and from there it was routed to another inland.

There are two other documents dealing with the actual sinking of chemical weapons. In a dossier of 51 pages of 30 January 1989, again prepared by Brankowitz ("Summary of certain discharges of chemical weapons at sea, the United States "), states that between October 21 and November 5, and between the first and December 15, 1945, in the" Mediterranean Sea, the island of Ischia "(with 'add' next to Bari ", sic), were sunk unspecified quantity of bombs containing phosgene, chloride, cyanide (cyanogen chloride) and hydrated cyanide (hydrogen cyanide). Unfortunately, unlike other cases cited in the report, do not specify the exact point of sinking material.

In another document dated March 29, 2001, prepared by the American Shooting Aberdeen, confirmed the operation di smaltimento di cui abbiamo appena detto.
